Please send a water bottle and a healthy snack with your child.
1st Day of School is September 16th!
Daily Schedule
9:00 Arrival (hang backpack, take off shoes, wash hands, choose new take-home books, and sign-in for the day by practicing writing own name)
9:05-9:20 Creative Building Free Play (children may creatively build at the block center including Duplo Legos, blocks, magna-tiles, cars, animals, etc.)
9:20 Clean-Up Block Center
9:25-9:35 LEGO Math (activities such as patterns, number matching, addition, subtraction, building a number using a template and shapes)
9:35-9:45 LEGO Letter of the Day (learn about our letter of the day and include LEGO activities such as build the letter of the day using a template, stack bricks as we say words that begin with the letter sound, create a model of something that starts with the letter of the day, letter sound relay race with legos and buckets)
9:45-10:15 Outdoor Play (swing set, trampoline, balance obstacle course, pipe builders, balls, water table, bubbles, creative gross motor group games)
10:15 Clean-Up Outdoor Toys
10:20 Snack (we wash hands, say a prayer, and children gather to eat their snacks from home)
10:30 Theme of the Day Activities (each preschool day features a new learning theme for the below activities and incorporates LEGOS)
11:15-11:45 Centers: LEGO unit theme set, math, science, art)
11:45-11:50 Clean-Up
11:50 Parachute Time (after our parachute play the children will put on their shoes and backpacks as we sing our good-bye song)
12:00 Preschool Day Ends
10:30-10:40 Circle Time (group discussion and teacher lesson introducing the theme of the day)
10:40-10:45 Song
10:45-11:00 Group Activities including LEGOS (examples: children will use LEGOS to measure their height as one activity during our All About Me unit, build healthy foods to sell during our Healthy Eating Unit, and sort LEGOS by seasonal colors for our Four Seasons unit.)
11:00-11:15 Story Time11:15-11:45 Centers: LEGO unit theme set, math, science, art)
11:45-11:50 Clean-Up
11:50 Parachute Time (after our parachute play the children will put on their shoes and backpacks as we sing our good-bye song)

*Special days for families to attend are Saturday, September 12th at 10:00 a.m.; Monday, December 14th at 11:30 a.m. to join in the Monday class Nativity Play; and March 21st at 10:00 a.m. for our end of the year celebration!

Our official preschool classes have ended for the year, but if you would still like to bring your child for learning and play to finish off our preschool year, I will host Learning Playdates on the following dates. Learning Playdates will run similarly to our preschool days, but with a new baby added to our home our schedule will be more relaxed and the cost is per day vs. per month. Learning playdates are completely optional.
